Darin Damiani

U.S. & International Government Relations

Darin spent 20 years with the U.S. federal government before retiring in 2024. 17 of those years were with the Department of Energy (DOE) in a management role supporting annual federal investments in R&D projects that led to significant advances in geologic carbon storage technologies.  In 2015, Darin joined the DOE Office of Fossil Energy in Washington, DC as the Carbon Transport and Storage Program Manager. During his time at DOE headquarters, he led strategic program budgeting, planning, and management that led to the investment of nearly $1 billion in funding appropriated by Congress to ensure the U.S. maintained its leadership in next-generation carbon storage technologies.  Darin supports Teverra in navigating government grants, budgets, and R&D priorities, as well as partnering and funding opportunities in the U.S. and abroad.
