The evolution of fractures in reservoirs determines the efficacy of an enhanced geothermal system (EGS). Monitoring changes in fracture network characteristics aids in the assessment of reservoir performance. Real-time EGS assessments provide valuable information to optimize stimulation schemes and maximize heat production.
