Daniel Alonso Torres is a Professional Geoscientist with over 14 years of experience in geothermal energy, mineral exploration, drilling, and hydrogeology. His expertise in applying geological, geophysical, and geochemical methods has advanced multiple geothermal projects from concept to drilling. Daniel holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the Complutense University of Madrid and an M.Sc. in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Calgary. He is a registered professional geoscientist with APEGA and EGBC in Canada. A passionate science communicator and geothermal advocate, Daniel has published and presented extensively, serves as Director for British Columbia on the Geothermal Canada board, and is an active member of the Canadian Energy Geoscience Association’s Geothermal Division.
