Dr. Umesh Prasad is the Geomechanics Lead at TEVERRA with over 30 years of combined experience in oil & gas, academia, and mining. He specializes in geomechanics, rock physics, and applied research for drilling and reservoir solutions. He has led multidisciplinary teams, contributed to innovation in CCUS and geothermal, and holds 54 publications, 4 patents, and several accolades, including the 2020 Houston Geological Society Distinguished Service Award. Dr. Prasad earned his Ph.D. from McGill University and a bachelor's in mining engineering from IIT (ISM), India.
