Zurich, Switzerland – October 8, 2025 — Teverra LLC proudly participated in the European Geothermal Congress 2025 (EGC 2025), held in Zurich, where global leaders, scientists, and innovators gathered to advance geothermal energy research and collaboration.
Emilie Gentry, M.Sc., Geothermal Lead at Teverra, presented during Session 4F:
Exploration, delivering an insightful talk titled “Value and Impact of Regional Feasibility Studies.”
Her presentation highlighted the essential role of regional screening and feasibility assessment in identifying viable geothermal prospects and optimizing exploration investment. Emilie emphasized that early integration of geological, structural, and geophysical data can reduce project risk, improve site prioritization, and accelerate readiness for drilling and development.
Drawing on Teverra’s global experience in subsurface modeling and geothermal conceptualization, Emilie shared how comprehensive regional analyses strengthen both technical confidence and stakeholder engagement, helping to transform exploration projects into reliable, low-carbon energy solutions.
“Regional feasibility studies provide the foundation for smarter geothermal development,” Gentry noted. “By combining geological insight with data-driven evaluation, we can expand geothermal access and de-risk projects across diverse regions.”
Teverra’s participation at EGC 2025 underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to advancing geothermal science and project delivery, thereby building a bridge between academic research and practical application in the clean energy transition.
About EGC 2025:
Organized by the European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC), the Congress is Europe’s flagship geothermal event, attracting researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders from across the globe.
