Denise M. Knight is a senior geoscience leader with over 25 years of experience in energy exploration and development across the oil, gas, and geothermal sectors. She currently serves as Vice President of Subsurface Evaluation & Resource Assessment at Teverra, where she leads geoscience strategy and technical execution for geothermal resource development, subsurface modeling, and integrated energy solutions.

Denise has built her career delivering high-impact subsurface insights across diverse environments, including onshore conventional and unconventional reservoirs, offshore Gulf of Mexico assets, and international deepwater systems. Her expertise includes basin analysis, structural and stratigraphic interpretation, petrophysics, and reservoir characterization, with a proven record of advancing prospects from early-stage evaluation through development.

In recent years, Denise has focused on geothermal energy within sedimentary basins, applying her oil and gas expertise to identify commercially viable geothermal resources. Her work bridges traditional subsurface disciplines with emerging energy technologies, including geothermal power generation, thermal energy storage, and hybrid systems supporting industrial and data center applications.
