Teverra Announces Leadership Transition as Founder Dr. Hamed Soroush Appoints Randal Wichuk as CEO

Atlanta, GA — October 2025

After nearly eight years of growth and innovation, Teverra marks an important milestone in its journey as Dr. Hamed Soroush, Founder and long-time CEO, has appointed Randal Wichuk as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2025.

Dr. Soroush founded Teverra with a vision to revolutionize the subsurface industry through innovation, data-driven science, and sustainable technology. Under his leadership, Teverra evolved into a global name in subsurface engineering, geothermal energy, carbon storage, and energy-efficiency solutions, with an expanding portfolio of proprietary technologies and DOE-funded projects.

About Randal Wichuk: Randal Wichuk brings more than 20 years of experience in financial management, business leadership, and corporate strategy across the energy and technology sectors. Before joining Teverra, he served as Chief Financial Officer at RNWBL®, a pure-play renewable-energy services company operating in the U.S. and Canada. Previously, he held senior roles at Premier Corex, advancing from CFO to President & CEO of a geosciences and engineering technology firm specializing in subsurface characterization for oil & gas and the energy-transition sectors. Randal also served as Vice President of Finance and COO at PTW Energy Services, a provider of electrical and instrumentation solutions, and spent a decade at Trican Well Service Ltd., where he rose to Senior Finance Director for North America.

He holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Education degrees from the University of Alberta and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in Canada.

As Randal assumes the CEO role, Dr. Soroush will continue to play a strategic role in advancing Teverra’s mission and supporting its subsidiaries as the company scales its technologies globally.
