Teverra participated in the Stanford University Geothermal Workshop, held February 9–11, 2026, where geothermal developers, technology providers, researchers, and industry leaders convened to share insights on advancing clean, reliable baseload energy.
As part of the workshop’s technical program, Kiley Baird, Geothermal Reservoir Engineer at Teverra, presented work from the Rico Geothermal Heat Network Development Project. Her presentation, titled “Resource Characterization and Conceptual Modeling of the Rico Geothermal System to Support Thermal Energy Network Development,” demonstrated how integrated geothermal resource characterization and conceptual modeling can support the development of community-scale geothermal systems and thermal energy networks.
The presentation highlighted Teverra’s approach to combining subsurface data analysis, conceptual reservoir modeling, and development-focused workflows to reduce uncertainty and accelerate geothermal deployment for thermal energy applications.
Throughout the workshop, Teverra engaged with industry peers to discuss geothermal development strategies, subsurface characterization technologies, thermal energy network deployment, and potential collaboration and investment opportunities.
Teverra appreciates the opportunity to contribute to the Stanford Geothermal Workshop and to engage with the broader geothermal community as part of the ongoing energy transition.
