TEVERRA was pleased to participate in the Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts HAHZ Workshop held on April 15, 2026, which brought together leading technical experts to discuss advancements in high-angle and horizontal wells.
As part of the workshop, Dr. Martin-Daniel Lacasse, TEVERRA’s CTO, presented:
“Beyond Well Logs: Transforming Geomechanical Analysis with Drilling Dynamics Data”
The presentation highlighted how next-generation drilling dynamics and real-time data analytics are transforming geomechanical characterization and subsurface understanding without relying solely on conventional wireline logging data.
The session demonstrated how drilling-derived information can be used to continuously evaluate subsurface conditions, helping operators better understand geomechanical behavior, improve wellbore stability analysis, reduce uncertainty, and support more informed operational decisions in complex drilling environments. The workshop featured a strong lineup of speakers and technical discussions focused on:
Advanced pore network characterization and rock typing
Integrated reservoir development strategies
Multi-physics data integration for improved decision-making
The evolving role of drilling data in geomechanics and subsurface analysis
TEVERRA’s participation reflected the company’s continued focus on advancing innovative subsurface technologies that improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and unlock deeper geomechanical insight across geothermal, oil and gas, carbon storage, and other subsurface energy applications.
Hosted by the SPWLA HAHZ Special Interest Group, the interactive workshop provided an important platform for technical collaboration and knowledge sharing across the industry.
TEVERRA appreciated the opportunity to contribute to the discussion and connect with technical peers and industry leaders from around the world.
